Reliance Jio is offering 2GB free data daily, valid for next four days

Reliance Jio  users here's good news for you. Starting from today, the telecom company is offering you 2GB data/day with a 4G speed network. This offer is for its select prepaid customers, this extra data is being offered to start from today for the next four days, till May 2. This daily 2GB data is above the existing data pack that users already have. Prepaid customers of Reliance  Jio  can find if they have got the benefit of this additional data on their  My Jio App . If you don't see it you can head to the 'My plans' section in My Jio App. Tap on the 'My Plan' section to find a section called ' Jio Data Pack ' where you will find details about this additional data such as expiry date, daily renewal time, remaining data. However, not all prepaid Reliance Jio customers can see the additional data. Don't download movies from random sites, warns Microsoft

Satya Nadella -led teach giant  Microsoft  has issued a fresh warning for those internet users, who download movies as they could be putting themselves at major risk. As per the Cyberscoop report, an attack starts with hackers disguising a malicious file in the same zip folder which includes a movie torrent. When the victim opens a zip file saved from a piracy site, they also trigger a malicious VBScript, a text file. That VBScript then uses BITSAdmin, a legitimate Microsoft protocol, to download a second-stage component, then tries to inject a coin-mining code into the machine's memory," adds the report. The campaign, primarily observed in Spain but has also shown up in some South American countries, aims to launch a coin-mining shellcode directly in memory. We're seeing the campaign affecting a wide range of customers, from home users to enterprises," said  Microsoft  in a tweet.

Don't fall for this rumour about free internet data

Be warned. The Department of Telecommunications has not announced any free internet for mobile users in the country till May 3. If you have received a message on  WhatsApp ,  Facebook ,or any other social media platforms which asks you to click on a link to get free internet, then don't just fall for it. The email app on  Apple  iPhone may be at its Achilles heel against hackers and vulnerable to malware attacks, as per a report by the The Wall Street Journal. The report is based upon the claims of  cybersecurity firm  ZecOps that says that hackers have found a flaw in mail on  Apple iPhone . And the iPhone can be hacked without you having to tap on a link or downloading any file, essentially a "malware without input", claims ZecOps. To make such a surreptitious attack possible, hackers could send in a "malware without input", a breach which would be "virtually undetectable ". This malware would be in the form of a "specially designed message", claim researchers.
